I work in a style of illuminated realism; that is, the image you retain in your memory or informed by emotion. I enjoy using layering techniques and enough detail to give my work a solid feel. Color and the play of light are important to my vision.

The Knife’s Edge

This still life was created using items from my father’s estate, things I had rich memories of in my childhood. I painted it while my grief was still sharp so the title seemed apt.
