Artist Statement
I am an artist firmly grounded in the realist tradition, with a vision of capturing moments in nature and life as they are in our mind and heart. I want to convey that moment when your eye is arrested and your mind is illuminated with the soul of a scene. I think of my paintings as both accessible and open to deeper exploration.
