I work in a style of illuminated realism; that is, the image you retain in your memory or informed by emotion. I enjoy using layering techniques and enough detail to give my work a solid feel. Color and the play of light are important to my vision.

Light and Love Endure

Watercolor on paper. The blue vase and the bookend belonged to one grandmother, the bunny napkin holder and the young girl in the photo are the other grandmother's. The little lizard decided to insert himself in the picture!
